Here are what my symptoms where and what I did to fix it: Symptoms. * Speedo, Tach, Gas, Coolant Temp, MPG, Odo, gauges not working. * None of the steering wheel buttons are working. * Turn signals not working. * Fan works but A/C does not. * Radio works. * ABS and Seat Belt lights work. * Instrument cluster lights up.

First we will need to set up a coding profile within NCS expert. 1) Open NCS Expert. 2) Open up the ‘Expertmode’ profile. 3) Save as a new profile (give it a name, like the godfather or something powerful sounding). 4) Load the ‘godfather’ profile. 5) Edit it (file –> edit. Password is repxet).

The extra cost of the alarm, IMHO, isn't worth it. BMWs already come equipped with passive anti-theft features that make the vehicles more difficult to drive off with (although tow-trucks still work great). All the alarm does it make noise--which very few people pay attention to.

After checking both side, the one that worked was showing current flow through a multimeter whereas the left side marker was showing no current flow. So this means we have one side wiring not working. Also on actual plug (the one that attaches to the side marker, I could see some sections of the plastic burnt)
Hi - I have a 1999 323I Automatic Tranny. The console area where the shifter is is the problem. I have a VW polo, hazard lights and RHS indicator seem to be working as expected. However the LHS indicator stops working intermittently, ie turn it on, works for a bit then just stops clicking and light goes off - the stalk is still in the LHS indicator position.
