You can acquire ascended gear in one day, you just need Crafting and some gold to buy materials (probably 30-40g per piece) without waiting because some of them are time-gated shit. Crafting with time-gated shit takes up to 9 days per piece (chest). Trinkets are sold by merchants (raids, fractals, laurel vendors, Living World).
You can slot runes and infusions on ascended. You are 100% correct. I just looked at one of my older character from a few years ago, he has ascended gear with runes stupid me. And to be able to buy the T2 skin you must have unlocked the T1 skin etc. BTW: If you plan to build the Legendary with the T3-skin it is cheaper to buy the exotic version of the T2-gear to unlock the T2 skin. One additiional slot from infusion is an ascended accessory from laurel vendors (cheaper if you use the wvw vendor) puts you at 45, which is enough to do fractal 40 farm, which gives you plwnty of relics, levels your personal level, etc. At that point, t2 fractals start dropping pre-infused rings for your convenience.

I just wonder - can I craft ascended gear with stats or buy it from the trading post? Or only way to acquire it is from PvP, fractals and raids? Thanks for answers. PS: Buy recipies of tp to save laurels (and often a lot of gold)

true, my tip is that people can buy an ascended Greatsword recipe for example from the market (50s - 2g). Make the ascended verata version for example. then use an exotic recipe to covert it to zerker. as opposed to buying an ascended recipe from the vendors for 5 laurels + 3 gold, then making a zerker GS straight away.

Raid drops: The final chest at the end of Raid encounters will often give Ascended gear. Merchants: Laurels: Can buy Ascended rings, earrings necklaces and even infusions from Laurel vendors. Fractals, PvP and WvW vendors: You can buy all types of gear in these vendors, but for weapon and Armor you'll require GrandMaster Marks. WD3m.
