Posts about God of War. Just got my first PS4. My first game is God of War. And oh my god This game is absolutely incredible. I played all the original GoW games from PS2 to PS3, and I'm just floored by how much of a departure this game is and how much better this change has made.

This does not make sense. They could offer better graphics and frame rates for PS5 version while make a more optimized version for the PS4 series consoles. God of War is one of the most selling games and PS5's are still hard to get, which makes sense that GOW: Ragnarok will be offered on both PS4 and PS5 version. 1.

It’s not a lock 60 but you will appreciate the difference right away. i been playing resolution mode and even that runs fine. i dont really like the high frame rates. the game feels more cinematic and pretty at 4k 30fps. Heads up, god of War (2018) and god of war 3 remastered are the only 2 available on the ps4.

It certainly has similar gameplay elements, but it plays more more like God of War imo. Ghost of Tsushima was similar in some ways. Great story telling, mostly open world, RPG elements, blocks/parry’s key to combat. See I’m playing both right now, and the combat of GoT ruined GoWs combat for me.

That’s the one issue I have with Ragnarok. It’s SO hard to create a sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed games of all times which is ALSO a sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed SERIES of all time, and following that up with the excellency expected from the new series regarded to its story-telling and cinematics, all the while delivering a story that is as engaging and 10. They did a perfect job of making it a rogue like game without it being too overwhelming with stats. The story was rich with emotional weight and the voice acting is top tier as usual. Can’t KGEPJAz.
